Hello Everyone! I pray all of you are having a fabulous day! We are getting closer to Christmas Day, and as it approaches I can't help but be excited about baby Brynlee's first Christmas! It's such a blessing to be able to watch her grow and to be able to be there for these important holiday's with my precious grandchild!

Last blog I talked about many of the benefits of the adaptogenic herbs Astragalus and Ashwaganda. Today I’d like to share with you the benefits of another fabulous adaptogenic herb called, Rhodiola rosea. Rhodiola Rosea is a plant that grows in the high rocky and frigid altitudes of the altai Mountains of Siberia.The plant grows from 12-30 inches and has striking yellow flowers and beautiful green foliage. It is referred to as Golden Root, Siberian Root, Roseroot or Arctic Root. The root of this beautiful plant is where the health benefits can be found. When the root is cut it releases an aroma that is liken to a rose – thus the reason it was name Rhodiola ROSEA. There are over 200 species of the Rhodiola plant, but only the Rosea species has been shown to contain significant health benefits. These benefits include:
