My name is Tammy Doering, I'm known as, The Mud Queen™! I am the Founder & Formulator of Aviv International Dead Sea Products.
I began this company due to my own personal needs. I am no stranger to skin disorders, I was born with Eczema and in my late teens began battling Psoriasis.My worst area was my scalp and neck. It would erupt into Seborreheic Psoriasis - large raw spots that would burn, itch and ooze. It was horrible! I was losing my hair and I eventually feared I'd be bald from it.
In 1997 I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and my quality of life began to decline rapidly. The drugs the doctors put me on turned me into a 'Zombie'. I couldn't get out of bed until noon most days!
In the middle of this mess I ended up losing all 10 fingernails to an illegal toxic substance being used on my nail beds to get the acrylic to stick.
It was during this time I noticed my skin was looking like old shoe leather. I had lived in the Alabama Sun my whole life and was what I jokingly called - 'Southern Fried Chicken' Wesson Oil on Aluminum Foil frying in the Alabama sun every chance I could!
After a year of being completely dysfunctional, I had had enough! I was sick and tired of being sick and tired and I begged God to either take me out of here or show me a better way to live. The answer came - 'The Leaves will Heal You'!
I started researching and learning about herbs, then Essential Oils and eventually I found medical documentation about how the Dead Sea Mud could strengthen hair roots, help with joint and muscle pain, heal athlete's foot fungus and even help with sleeping disorders.
I would learn that your skin is largest organ and it absorbs everything that touches it. I started reading about how many toxic chemicals there actually were in beauty care products. I was 'Lathering and Slathering' toxic cocktails on my entire body everyday in the name of 'Beauty' and not even realizing it!
In 1998 I began importing and eventually became a self-taught Cosmetic Chemist. I was my own Guinea Pig for all of my personal issues. Long story short, in 10 weeks time I healed my Seborrhea and Psoriasis completely, my nails grew back, I was able to ween myself off of the 'Zombie-drugs' and I looked 10 years younger than I actually was! The Dead Sea had reversed the signs of aging! My slogan became - 'Just Mud It!' and I have seen some pretty Miraculous things occur from it!
